Here's how I was expecting Cody's skit to play out: It cuts to 2 years later, and now the TikTok star Chase Janson is the barista. Like a lot of young influencers, his clout dissipated in a few years and he didn't know how to handle his finances, so the cars and Gucci sh*t he used for flexing are now long gone and he's broke or probably in deep debt. So he had to get a real job, and it happened to be the same Starbucks. Now the ex-Barista comes in, and sees how the person first in line is really rude to Chase. They recognize each other but instead of dunking on him, the ex-Barista shows sympathy, cause Chase was just a kid when they first met. Ex-Barista says he got his degree while he worked at the Starbucks and now works in finance or is an architect or whatever. And he tells Chase, hey, I know it's tough but this is the real world, keep your chin up, work hard, and try to get an education on the side, and maybe you can also realize your dreams, instead of being handed everything in life and only achieving something really fleeting like TikTok clout.

I hate how she says "I only look like this because I came from a nail salon". Meaning, don't worry, I normally look like a rich person _like I should._ It's still implying there's something wrong with how she's dressed. Wouldn't the message work better if she just liked to wear those clothes? There are actual millionaires who just wear jeans and a T shirt, not any brand names either. Right now, the video isn't telling you not to judge based on appearance, but rather that appearance can be temporary and underneath could be a camouflaged richie, so just in case treat everyone like they're carrying stacks in their purse! These inspiring videos are sh*t anyway, they are pandering and so simplistic. They are made to be so black and white that people can agree without a second thought and immediately share it with the caption "really makes you think!" - even though it does the exact opposite of that.

Dhar Mann skits are like those God's Not Dead movies but about basic ass morality as opposed to rudimentary evangelical christianity. both need to rely on cartoonish depictions of their opposition because they have no idea how to legitimately argue against them and merely want to be patted on the back for being as agreeable as possible to their respective audiences. God's Not Dead could have been a really philosophically challenging film for agnostics and atheists and could have actually converted people if they portrayed their opposition realistically. similarly, Dhar Mann videos could have actually been very helpful in breaking down petty prejudices but because Dhar Mann is about as much a psychologist as Dr. Phil is, the result is fake deep preachy nonsense that feels ripped from an out of touch "message" rap
